Here is essential information for the 2018 ESPY Awards, including who hosted, the nominees and award winners.

When, where are the 2018 ESPY Awards?

Although ESPN owns the events, the ESPYs have been televised on ABC since 2015. This year's ESPYs will air live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET and will be live-streamed online at  Watch ESPN and via the Watch ESPN app .

The Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles has hosted the ESPYs each year since 2008, and the awards show returned there again this year. Like other award shows in entertainment, the spectrum's biggest stars will be in attendance and a red carpet will be rolled out before the event.

Who hosted the ESPYs?

Danica Patrick hosted this year's ESPYs, becoming the first woman to host  in the history of the event.
