Eric Weddle is done for the day.
The Rams safety was carted off the field Sunday after Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey made contact with his head while leaping over him.

Weddle was motionless on the field for a few minutes before sitting up to be tended to by trainers. He was visibly bloodied and needed help standing before being taken to the locker room for further evaluation.

The Rams officially listed Weddle as doubtful to return with a head laceration.

He was later ruled out after also being evaluated for a concussion.
