Eric Decker's wife says Tom Brady is targeted 'because he's hot' image

Tom Brady is hated because he's beautiful.

At least, that's what country singer Jessie James Decker thinks is the reason for the Patriots quarterback's constant scrutiny.

"I think he gets picked on because he's hot," Decker told E! News Thursday. "If it was someone else they probably wouldn't be picking on him."

Her husband, Jets receiver Eric Decker, seemed to have a more... realistic view on why Brady tends to be a target.

"He also gets more calls than other quarterbacks in the league," Eric said. "He's Tom Brady. He's won multiple championships."

Championships aside, Eric also explained how low hits on offensive players force all quarterbacks — not just Brady — to "cry for calls."

"I think every quarterback cries for calls to be honest," Eric said. "A lot of skilled players on offense cry for calls, and on defense, they do hit low. That's just the way the league has been with the fines up top and the concussion problems. Guys are going and taking people's knees out, which is unfortunate because I'd rather be hit up high than down low."

Brady and his beauty will take the field Sunday in the AFC Championship against the Broncos.
