Homeless man receives dinner courtesy of Jets' Eric Decker

One day after undergoing rotator cuff surgery, Jets wide receiver Eric Decker stopped to buy a homeless man dinner.

 

Watching my man buy a sweet homeless man some dinner earlier. He approached us saying how hungry he was and how he was a veteran from New York. Eric then told him let's walk over and get you some food and the man kept saying over and over again "I can't believe it, I just can't believe it. He Was so surprised by the kindness. I admire Eric so much and am so proud to be his wife. #actsofkindness

Decker's wife, Jessie James Decker, posted a photo on Instagram to proudly showcase her husband's act of kindness. Decker's wife also posted a photo of the wide receiver post-surgery on Tuesday. The rotator cuff injury, which occurred Week 3 against the Chiefs, put Decker on injured reserve, forcing him to miss the remainder of the season.

His status for the beginning of the 2017 season also remains in doubt.
