Ed Reed is currently an assistant defensive backs coach for the Bills, and the 37-year-old former safety has no intentions of coming back unless there's a massive upgrade in his pay.
"What's the lottery?" Reed responded when asked how much it would take to get him to play. "It's like 308 [million]? 306? Something like that, right? I got to hit the lottery."

A $300 million contract would shatter records, so in other words, Reed isn't coming back. He's been retired since 2013, and seems to be enjoying himself as a coach. But even though he doesn't envision a comeback, he still believes he can play.
"I got two or three years in me," Reed said. "But I'm not giving it to the league. I already decided not to. Things could happen, but I don't think there's enough finances to get me in those cleats anymore, man. They tend not to want to play the vets."
