Earl Thomas has 'great week' with Ravens, coach John Harbaugh says image

Earl Thomas had a "great week" of practice with the Ravens.

Coach John Harbaugh was impressed with the recently acquired safety, who was aggressive on the field after fracturing his left leg in late September.

"He’s (had) a great week," Harbaugh said. "(He had) great anticipation and great ability to cover ground. He shows up in the right spots on a regular basis. That’s what great safeties do. He’s done a great job.”

Thomas, 30, penned a massive a four-year, $55 million deal with Baltimore in March after spending the past nine seasons in Seattle.

The six-time Pro Bowl player was originally drafted by the Seahawks in 2010. Thomas has made three All-Pro teams and won Super Bowl 48 with the team. He has the 10th most interceptions (28) of any active player in the NFL and a total of 684 combined tackles — the 23rd best in the league.

Thomas played in just four games last season after sustaining a severe leg injury early in the season. He finished with three interceptions and five passes defended.
