AJ Brown trade details: Eagles, Titans strike blockbuster deal during 2022 NFL Draft as WR lands new contract image

The Eagles are going to find out what Brown can do for their offense.

During the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, Philly and Tennessee's front offices came together on the blockbuster of the night, with the Titans shipping wideout AJ Brown to the Eagles for a first-round pick.

An offseason of will-they-won't-they drama between the wide receiver and the Titans centered around a new contract — a contract that the Titans were seemingly unwilling dole out, leading to the deal on Thursday.

Brown had taken to Twitter in recent months with cryptic messages seemingly voicing displeasure with the way the negotiations between he and the team had worked out. Well, negotiations with his new squad didn't last too long, with Brown reportedly inking a gaudy new deal with his new squad.

According to multiple reports, Brown signed a four-year, $100 million contract with the Eagles at the time of the trade.

Brown's new deal contains a reported $57 million in guaranteed money.

Brown's new deal places him in the top-five in average annual value among wide receivers in the league, behind Tyreek Hill ($30 million), Davante Adams ($28 million) and DeAndre Hopkins ($27.25 million).

His guaranteed money sits at sixth in the league.
