The Philadelphia Eagles have signed wide receiver DeVonta Smith to a three-year extension, the team announced on Monday. The extension, combined with the team picking up Smith’s fifth-year option, keeps Smith in Philadelphia through the 2028 season.
Ian Rapaport of NFL Network reports that the extension is worth $75 million and comes with $51 million in guaranteed money.
The move is just the latest in what has been a rather busy offseason for the Eagles. After the retirement of two team leaders in center Jason Kelce and defensive tackle Fletcher Cox, the Eagles have signed several key pieces to extensions to offer a bit of stability amidst the upheaval, with offensive guard Landon Dickerson and tackle Jordan Mailata both agreeing to new deals of their own.
