The day after the Eagles' 37-10 loss to the Cowboys, two more defensive players were shown the door.
Philadelphia released cornerback Orlando Scandrick and defensive tackle Akeem Spence, according to multiple reports. The move comes one week after the ream released starting linebacker Zach Brown.
Eagles coach Doug Pederson obviously isn't pleased with the team's defensive work this season. Philadelphia (3-4) has given up at least 24 points in every game except one.
Scandrick and Spencer haven't even been around the entire time.
The 32-year-old Scandrick, who played 10 seasons with the Cowboys before splitting time with the Chiefs and Redskins last season, was first cut by the Eagles during the preseason. He joined the team before the Week 5 game to replace the injured Avonte Maddox and had one start. He looked bad Sunday night on one play, in particular, whiffing on a tackle on Tavon Austin's touchdown run early in the game.

Spence, a seven-year veteran, was signed prior to Week 2. He had seven combined tackles playing in about 40% of Philadelphia's defensive plays.
The Eagles filled one of their roster spots by signing defensive tackle Anthony Rush from the Raiders' practice squad.
Pederson refused to blame his defensive unit for Sunday night's blowout, noting that Eagles' turnovers put the defense in a bad spot several times.
"It's everybody, it's not just one unit," Pederson said.
