At least one Eagles player is upset with his team for not going out and getting cornerback Jalen Ramsey in a trade.
"We dropped the ball," an unidentified player told ESPN in a text. "I don't even want to talk about that (explicit). Everybody knew what it was going to take to get him. I could've told you that."
The Rams acquired Ramsey from the Jaguars on Tuesday for first-round picks in 2020 and 2021 and a fourth-round pick in 2021.

Philadelphia has an OK defense ranking 18th in total yards allowed this season, but the pass defense is very suspect ranking fourth in the NFL in passing yards given up.
It would be understandable if a player was upset his team didn't get some much needed help, but it remains to be seen whether the entire team feels the same way.
Ramsey is a two-time Pro Bowl player and a one-time first-team All-Pro. He would help any defense and he will be helping the Rams for the rest of the year, not the Eagles.
