Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham was arrested some time last week after allegedly bringing a loaded weapon to Miami International Airport, according to TMZ Sports .
"We are aware of the report regarding Nigel Bradham," the Eagles said in a statement . "We have been in communication with Nigel and the authorities regarding the situation. As it is a pending legal matter, we have no further comment at this time."
According to the report, Bradham left his loaded gun in his backpack and sent it through the X-ray machine. When asked about the weapon, he told officials he forgot it was in there. The officials said there was no "criminal intent" but they couldn't leave him with a citation because he's still out on bond stemming from a July assault case.
In the July incident, Bradham allegedly assaulted a hotel worker in a dispute regarding an umbrella purchase.
With two arrests in four months, the team (or the NFL) may consider some sort of discipline. The linebacker is off to a strong start this season, recording 10 tackles and an interception in three games.
He was at Eagles practice on Monday.
