We've come a long way since Joe Namath made big headlines by guaranteeing his Jets would beat the Colts in Super Bowl III.
Eagles defensive lineman Fletcher Cox won't remind anyone of Namath, and Saturday's Eagles-Redskins game is far from a Super Bowl-caliber matchup. But it is a big game, with both teams fighting for a division title. The Redskins (7-7) can clinch the NFC East with a win Saturday in Philadelphia while the Eagles (6-8) need to win the final two games.

Cox told reporters earlier this week that he feels confident about Philadelphia's chances.
"It was one of my goals (to make the Pro Bowl), but I think the biggest relief will be when we win on Saturday," Cox said, via CBS Sports.com.
After a reporter asked whether he was guaranteeing a victory, Cox stated the obvious.
"Yeah, I'm guaranteeing a win," he said. "What am I supposed to say? That I think we're going to lose or something? No."
Both the Eagles and Redskins control their own destiny and can win the NFC East — and earn a home game in the wild-card playoff round.
The Redskins won the first matchup between the teams, 23-20, in Week 2 in Washington.
