Eagles vs. Bears results: Score, highlights from Eagles' win on Cody Parkey's missed field goal image

Something about the playoffs brings out the best in Nick Foles.

The Eagles quarterback threw the game-winning touchdown pass on fourth down with under a minute left and got help from Bears kicker Cody Parkey, who missed a 43-yard field goal with ten seconds remaining to give the Eagles a 16-15 victory.

After three failed plays from the goal line, Foles found Golden Tate to put the Eagles ahead for good. Mitchell Trubisky and the Bears drove down the field and were in position to win, but Parkey’s kick bounced off the upright and crossbar before falling no good.

Foles finished with 266 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions and made several clutch passes down the stretch.

Neither team was able to find the end zone much, as the Bears settled for a trio of Parkey field goals in the first 45 minutes and the Eagles didn’t score a touchdown until the third quarter.

Chicago finally broke through on a touchdown pass from Trubisky to Allen Robinson that briefly put them ahead in the fourth quarter.

The Eagles will continue their quest to repeat as Super Bowl champions next Saturday against the Saints.

Sporting News provided live updates from the Eagles dramatic victory in the wild-card round.

5:58 p.m.: Crazy play towards the end of the half. Looks like Anthony Miller may have made the catch and fumbled the ball, but there was no clear recovery, and it is deemed incomplete. Despite the controversial call, the officials did follow what the rulebook states.

5:56 p.m.: Another costly penalty for the Eagles, as it's a hands to the face that gives the Bears a first down after a punt appeared likely.

5:50 p.m.: Bears and Eagles exchange punts and Chicago will have another chance for points with 2:38 left in the half.

5:26 p.m.: FIELD GOAL, BEARS. The Bears got into field goal range on a completion to Tarik Cohen, which leads to a 36-yard kick by Cody Parkey. Trubisky came up gimpy after scrambling on third down, so that may be something to keep an eye on. Eagles 3, Bears 3
