Presidential candidate Donald Trump has entered the Redskins team name debate, because why not?
Jeb Bush, also a presidential candidate, said last week, "I don’t find it offensive," referring to Washington's team name. Well, Trump apparently feels the same way.

“Honestly, I don’t think they should change the name, unless the owner wanted to,” Trump said, via the New York Times.
According to the Times, Trump said the heated debate over the team name is "yet another issue of unnecessary political correctness." He also added that the name isn't offensive to Trump's Native American friends.
“I know Indians that are extremely proud of that name,” he said. “They think it’s a positive.”
Change the Mascot disagrees and released the following statement:
“It is hardly surprising that a candidate who labeled Mexican immigrants rapists and calls women 'pigs' now says he wants the NFL to continue slurring Native Americans. Donald Trump joins some of the NFL’s ignoble fraternity of billionaires who sit in their office suites and owners boxes happily spending their fortunes denigrating people of color.”
Trump and Bush have butted heads and called each other names during their respective campaigns, but at least they can agree on something.
"It's progress," Trump said.
