After cornerback Brent Grimes was released by the Dolphins, wife Miko Grimes went on a profanity-laced rant on Twitter, essentially saying good riddance to the team.
Miko, who is known for being particularly brazen and outspoken, reportedly didn't mesh well with the Dolphins, but it was unclear whether she played a part in the team's cutting Brent Grimes.
Now Dolphins owner Stephen Ross has admitted to the Palm Beach Post the team was not just cutting the football player, but his wife as well.

“I think everybody knows what she represented. I thought it was best that the Dolphins move on from Brent and Miko,” Ross said.
Miko made more headlines than her husband last season. She openly bashed Miami quarterback Ryan Tannehill, tweeted threatening messages to reporters and was arrested outside a tailgate for violently resisting arrest.
After his release, Brent Grimes was quickly scooped up by the Buccaneers, which Miko seems happier about.
For now.
