With its playoff hopes shattered, Dallas is giving its injured players some much-needed rest.

Wide receiver Dez Bryant didn't travel to Buffalo and has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills.

WEEK 16 PICKS: Against the spread | Straight up

Bryant didn't participate in practice this week because of foot and ankle injuries and was listed as doubtful on the team's injury report. Sunday's matchup will mark the sixth game the wideout has missed this season.

Bryant suffered a broken fifth metatarsal in his right foot in the Cowboys' season-opening win over the Giants and immediately underwent surgery. He was able to return in the team's Week 8 loss to the Seahawks after intense rehabilitation but couldn't find his stride. He has 31 catches for 401 yards and three touchdowns in nine games, with just one 100-yard game this season.

Meanwhile, cornerback Morris Claiborne has also been ruled out for Sunday's game as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury. Claiborne initially strained his hamstring in the Cowboys' Week 10 loss to the Buccaneers and made a brief return before re-aggravating the injury in the team's Week 14 loss to the Packers. It will be the fourth game he has missed this season.
