Dez Bryant just can't catch a break this season.
The Cowboys wide receiver hopes to return from a knee injury after this week's bye, but he was limited in practice Wednesday because of a new injury.

Bryant sliced the middle and index fingers of his right hand while preparing soup for dinner Tuesday night. Bryant said the injury is "extremely minor," but we all saw what happened to Trevor Bauer during Game 3 of the AL Championship Series, so finger injuries cannot be discounted.
“Yeah, he’s got a cut on the inside of his hand, so he wasn’t able to catch balls today," coach Jason Garrett said Wednesday. "(Dez) did a good job moving around though. I think he’s feeling better and better and better.”
Despite the culinary injury, Bryant, who has just one touchdown this season, is expected to return in Week 8 against the Eagles on Sunday Night Football.
