Dez Bryant got a slap on the wrist from the Cowboys not long after fracturing his knee.
The team fined its star wide receiver an undisclosed amount for skipping team meetings and a scheduled MRI on Tuesday, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Bryant briefly exited Sunday night's 31-17 win over the Bears before returning and finishing. Injured players typically are expected to report for treatment the day after a game, but Bryant's examination was put off until Tuesday morning. He reportedly didn't show up to the Cowboys' facility until midday, missing several meetings as well.
The unusual delay in revealing Bryant's status raised questions that Cowboys coach Jason Garrett refused to answer all week before Wednesday's MRI showed Bryant had suffered a lateral hairline fracture of the tibial plateau of his right knee.

Garrett called the injury a "day-by-day, week-by-week situation" and is hopeful Bryant will be able to play next Sunday against the 49ers.
