Devin Hester's NFL career is apparently over.
Following Seattle's loss to the Falcons in Saturday's divisional playoff game, the veteran return specialist announced the game was likely his last.

“I told my wife this is pretty much my last year,” Hester said after the game, via NBC Sports. “I was hoping for a run to the Super Bowl. The only thing that I left out of this game is walking away without getting a ring. It’s tough.”
Despite his Super Bowl dreams falling short, Hester put on a fantastic final performance, as he returned five kickoffs for 194 yards and had an impressive 80-yard punt return — which called back by a penalty.

Hester, 34, was selected by the Bears in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft and spent his first eight seasons in Chicago. He went on to have stints with the Ravens and Falcons before signing with the Seahawks earlier this month for the postseason.
The four-time Pro Bowler and three-time first-team All-Pro has a case as a future Hall of Fame candidate, as he holds the NFL record for combined return touchdowns (20), punt return touchdowns (14) and return touchdowns in a season (6).
