The Detroit Lions revealed their new uniforms on Thursday night, all of which were well-received by fans and media.
On top of the more classic looks the Lions unveiled, they also revealed an alternate that features a black jersey, a blue helmet, and either black or blue pants.
Whether good or bad, the alternate jersey created the most buzz. However, the home and away versions were almost universally loved, as they should be. You can never go wrong with a more classic look.
Because we loved all of the combinations, ranking them is extremely difficult, but we're going to try and do that now, with our rankings based on wow factor.
Detroit Lions uniform rankings
1. Motor City Muscle (alternate)
This combination just jumps off the screen at you. The blue helmet with black Lions logo and black jersey are consistent on both combinations, with the difference being one has blue pants and the other has black. I'm personally a sucker for all-black uniforms, which is why that one takes the cake. The version with blue pants is pretty great, also.
2. One Pride (home)
Both of the other two uniforms are excellent, but give me the home one with the blue jersey and silver pants over the away version. The coolest part about both the home and away combinations is the addition of a blue face mask.
3. The 313 (away)
This uniform features a white jersey and blue pants, while also sporting the blue facemask and silver helmet. Ranking this one third doesn't mean it's bad, it just doesn't jump out as much as the other two.
