Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold is set to embark on the first year of his NFL career, and before he does he's setting some lofty goals for himself, as all young players should.
Arnold, who showed no shortage of confidence upon being drafted, is not only aiming to get into the Hall of Fame once his career is said and done, he also wants to be known as the best to ever do it at the cornerback position.
"I want to be remembered as the greatest cornerback to ever played this game, that simple," Arnold said in a video from NFL Films. "I want to put that gold jacket on, and I ain't talking about that kind of gold jacket you go out there and buy. That one that gotta be earned, not given."

The Lions certainly hope all of that comes to fruition after investing their first- and third-round picks in the 2024 NFL Draft to move up to No. 24 to take him.
But first thing's first: Arnold, who is expected to start in his first year, will have to earn his role on the team this offseason in what general manager Brad Holmes called a "bloodbath" in terms of the competition at cornerback.
