The Detroit Lions and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will meet at Ford Field in Week 2 for what is a rematch of their 2023 playoffs showdown that the Lions won, 31-23.
The Lions started off their 2024 campaign with a thrilling overtime win over the Los Angeles Rams last week, 26-20. It wasn't a pretty performance by quarterback Jared Goff, but kicker Jake Bates, the rushing attack and defense did its part to put Detroit over the top.
The Buccaneers had a much more impressive showing in their 37-20 win over the Washington Commanders in Week 1. Not only was the offense under quarterback Baker Mayfield firing on all cylinders, but the defense played at a high level, also.
