The Detroit Lions' 2024 schedule was released on Wednesday night, and now we're taking a look at the team's strength of schedule based on a few different methods.

What is probably the worst method of measuring strength of schedule is using 2023 records, but we'll roll with that as our first avenue. According to the NFL, the Lions' slate ranks as the 11th-most difficult in the league, and the third-toughest in the NFC.

The best way to determine strength of schedule is based on 2024 projections, which come via Vegas oddsmakers. According to Warren Sharp of Sharp Football Analysis, Detroit owns the 12th-toughest slate in the league, and once again the third-most difficult in the conference.

Last but not least, we have a strength of schedule calculation based on Super Bowl odds, which comes via Deniz Selman. There, the Lions own the 16th-most difficult slate in the league, and the sixth-toughest in the NFC.
