After sporting one of the best offenses in the NFL in 2023, the Detroit Lions are set to return much of the same unit in 2024, which should lead to them having an elite offense once again.
Knowing that, the Lions have several players to target in fantasy football drafts, a list that is headlined by wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, tight end Sam LaPorta and quarterback Jared Goff.
In terms of total fantasy points scored, Goff ranked as QB7 last season, Amon-Ra St. Brown as WR3, and LaPorta as TE1 — but they weren't the only ones who made a big fantasy impact last season.
Lions running backs Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery both ranked in the top 20 at their position, with Gibbs at RB10 and Montgomery at RB17. Making their showings even more impressive is the fact that they split work and missed a few games each. Gibbs has the potential to be one of the elite fantasy running backs during the 2024 campaign.
One player to keep an eye on is wide receiver Jameson Williams, who is expected to have a bigger role in his third season. The Alabama product could be an absolute steal later in drafts if he has the breakout campaign many are projecting.
Pro Football Focus' Nathan Jahnke recently released his fantasy football rankings for the 2024 season. Here's where he ranked each of the aforementioned players overall and within their respective position groups.
