Ahead of the team's final practice of training camp on Wednesday, Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell revealed two rookies have an impressive signing voice, running back Sione Vaki and undrafted free-agent edge rusher Isaac Ukwu.
The team held a rookie talent show recently, and not only was Campbell impressed by Vaki's voice in particular, he called it the best he has ever heard from a rookie.
Campbell also didn't rule out the two rookies doing a duet eventually.
"Vaki's voice is — the performance was meh — but the voice? It was pretty phenomenal," Campbell said, per Nolan Bianchi of The Detroit News.
After hearing that, the media was just waiting to ask Vaki about his singing voice after practice, and the rookie absolutely did not disappoint.

It looks like the Lions running back might have a career opportunity once his playing days are over.
Vaki's singing voice hasn't been the only impressive thing about him this offseason. After showing plenty of promise during offseason practices, Vaki has had a strong training camp and preseason, flashing as both a rusher and pass-catcher. Vaki is locked into the 53-man roster, but he might garner a small role early on, also.
Meanwhile, Ukwu has been impressive in his own right, with the UDFA totaling three pressures and two sacks in two preseason games. As a result, he has a shot to make the 53-man roster.
Vaki and Ukwu will have one more opportunity to show their stuff ahead of the regular season when the Lions take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday.
