In the wake of the 2024 NFL schedule release on Wednesday night, the Detroit Lions asked their players to name the matchup their anticipating most, and the answers weren't surprising.
Of course, all games are important to players, seeing as how just one can make or break a season. But some games just mean a bit more to some players, whether it's because it's a revenge game or one that takes place close to home where family and friend can be in the stands, for example.
Cornerback Terrion Arnold chose the Minnesota Vikings because he can't wait to face his former Alabama teammate, Dallas Turner. Multiple players chose the Dallas Cowboys after last year's officiating debacle, while multiple others went with the San Francisco 49ers following last year's painful NFC title game loss.
Then there was running back Jahmyr Gibbs, who took the easier approach and just chose every single opponent on the Lions' 2024 schedule.

The best part of the video was the end, when running back David Montgomery picks up the Chicago Bears without saying a word, instead just staring into the camera.
Of course, Montgomery was drafted by the Bears and spent four seasons with them before signing with the Lions in 2023. Clearly he still has them on his mind after a pair of 2023 matchup and will look to inflict more damage Detroit's division rival.
Safety Kerby Joseph was excellent, also, with the veteran having a brief explanation for every single opponent he chose.
