The Detroit Lions have officially signed two players who were trying out during rookie minicamp this past weekend.
The team announced it has inked wide receiver Kaden Davis and tight end Parker Hesse to contracts. The length and financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
The signing of Davis was reported on Sunday. He'll add to the depth competition at wide receiver and can also play on special teams. The Northwest Missouri State product was with the Arizona Cardinals last season, where he spent time on the practice squad and was active for one game but did not play a snap.
Prior to his stint in Arizona, Davis was an undrafted free-agent signing of the Denver Broncos in 2022 and spent time on their practice squad, also.
Hesse adds another body to the tight ends room that can block. He has spent the past three seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, where he compiled 14 catches for 132 yards and no scores. Before that, he spent some time with the Tennessee Titans.
