The Detroit Lions saw multiple players get hurt during their preseason opener versus the New York Giants on Thursday night, but offensive lineman Connor Galvin appeared to suffer the most serious one.
During the fourth quarter, Galvin got his leg rolled up on during a play, which led to the cart being brought out for him. The 24-year-old offensive lineman was clearly in pain as trainers attended to him.
The Lions don't give in-game injury updates during the preseason, so his exact injury and its severity remain unknown as of this writing. Trainers appeared to be looking at his left knee, but we can't say for certain.
Backup right tackle Connor Galvin got rolled up on and after getting his left knee looked at, they're bringing out the cart.
