Barring a trade up or down, the Detroit Lions will first be on the clock in the 2024 NFL Draft at No. 29 overall, a pick the franchise has had twice in its history.

After not hitting on running back Garry James in 1986, the Lions had a second crack at the selection in 1988 when they took linebacker Chris Spielman, who went on to have a stellar career.

Spielman was a runner-up for the Defensive Rookie of the Year and went on to get four Pro Bowl nods, one first-team All-Pro and a pair of second-team All-Pros.

But how have teams fared more recently with the No. 29 overall pick in the draft? Let's find out now as we take a look at every selection in that spot since 2010. We've also included any notable achievements for each.
