We're moving right along with our look back at the Detroit Lions' NFL draft history at every pick they own in 2024, with the next stop being their first of two sixth-round selections at No. 201 overall.

The Lions have owned the selection a grand total of three times in franchise history, but haven't had any semblance of success with it, as you'd expect with such a late pick.

In 1943, Detroit drafted guard Percy Holland out of LSU, who never played a single regular season snap for the team. The Lions had slightly better results the next time around, but not by much.

Muskingum defensive tackle Roger LaLonde was drafted by Detroit in 1964 and went on to play in 14 games during his rookie campaign, which was his only season in Detroit. He started in 9 of the 11 games he played in for the New York Giants in 1965, which was his last in the league.

The most recent No. 201 overall pick of the Lions came in 1993, when they took defensive back Kevin Miniefield out of Arizona State. He went on to enjoy a five-year career in the league but never played a regular season snap for the Lions.

He did, however, spend four seasons with the Chicago Bears and one with the Arizona Cardinals. Miniefield started in 10 of the 51 career games he played in.
