Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff doesn't think his head coach, Dan Campbell, is much of a golf fan and gave his reasoning during a recent interview.
When asked about Campbell's golf game, Goff said on the "Fore Please! Now Driving..." podcast that he doesn't think his head coach enjoys the sport much because it might be too slow-paced for him.
“No, I’m not sure he’s much of a golfer," Goff told Marty Smith. "No, I don’t think he would be. I bet he plays once a year when it’s with the boys, to play some golf. No, he’s... I don’t know if his personality is quite fit for it or if he enjoys it that much. It might be too slow for him.”
It looks like we won't be seeing Campbell take part in a celebrity golf tournament like the American Century Championship anytime soon, which is a shame.
Goff, who is down at The Masters this week, also revealed that punter Jack Fox is one of the best golfers on the team.
