Deshaun is done with Houston.
According to ESPN's Dan Graziano, the future former Houston Texans quarterback has made it clear that he has no intention of playing another snap with the team following a meeting with new head coach David Culley.
Per sources, Texans QB Deshaun Watson met with new Texans head coach David Culley last Friday. In that meeting Watson reiterated that he wants to be traded and told Culley he has no intention of playing for the Texans again. No change from Watson's end. He remains dug in.

The news, which isn't new but reaffirming, comes following reports that the Texans refuse to so much as answer a phone call regarding Watson's availability, meaning the divorce between player and team could be long, messy and drawn out over the coming months.

Watson spoke briefly to coach David Culley recently, but the two still haven’t met in person. Houston not budging.
The schism between the Texans and Watson has grown this offseason, coming off the heels of a tumultuous 4-12 season. Reports suggested that Watson was disappointed with the way the organization handled its coaching and general manager searches, refusing to listen to the quarterback's suggestions for potential interviews.

The 25-year-old franchise passer had his best season in the league in 2020, throwing for 4,823 yards, 33 touchdowns passes and just seven interceptions in 16 games. The team fired head coach Bill O'Brien midseason.
The Texans turned to Culley, former Baltimore wide receivers coach, as their new head coach for the 2021 season and beyond. He'll just likely have to navigate that season without Watson as his QB.
