Denver Broncos: Which undrafted player has best chance of making team? image

The Denver Broncos have a rich history of undrafted players not only making the 53-man roster but also becoming major assets for the team. Looking at this year's undrafted free-agent class, there are some great players to choose from.

Will one of these guys make the team? Will multiple undrafted players make the team? When I put my latest 53-man roster projection together, I had two of them making the squad. One of those players, safety Omar Brown, was recently tabbed by Ryan Fowler of Bleacher Report as the most likely UDFA to make the Broncos' roster.

While I agree that Brown will make the team, the most likely undrafted player to make this year's squad is easily Memphis running back Blake Watson. While you can argue that the Broncos are going to need safety help more than they'll need another running back, Watson's talent is going to be too much to deny.

The Broncos have a solid running back room following the draft with the fifth-round selection of Audric Estime, but it's still surprising that Watson went undrafted. He is going to fit seamlessly into Sean Payton's offense and his ability as a receiver out of the backfield is the trait that is going to put him over the top.

I'm close to calling him a lock to make the team, but with the possibility of an injury, it's difficult to make such a claim. Still, Watson was one of the best undrafted free-agent signings that any team made following the draft and he should be considered the undrafted player most likely to make the Broncos roster.
