Having DeAndre Levy back in the middle of the defense won't solve all of the Lions' problems, but it can't hurt.
The linebacker, who had 117 tackles last season, will make his 2015 debut Sunday against the Cardinals after recovering from a hip injury.

Levy returned to practice last week but did not play in the controversial loss to the Seahawks on Monday night that dropped the Lions to 0-4.
"Obviously, any time you have a guy that has that kind of experience that he's had and the fine play that he's had through the years, that certainly makes a huge difference," coach Jim Caldwell said Friday, via the Detroit Free Press. "Every year's different, but he adds a boost to us. He's a guy that, in the run and pass, can be a factor in the game."
Levy agreed to a four-year contract extension worth nearly $34 million in August but injured his hip in practice about three weeks later.
The 28-year-old was a third-round pick by the Lions in the 2009 NFL Draft and has been a fixture in Detroit's defense since.
