The Las Vegas Raiders were an absolute mess over the first half of the 2023 campaign, and it led to players getting frustrated, with wide receiver Davante Adams being among them.
Adams is one of the wide receivers featured in Netflix's new docuseries "Receiver" and during one of the episodes Adams goes off on the sideline and expresses his frustration over taking big hits on the football field.
The veteran wideout even goes as far as to say that he needs to get out of Las Vegas in order to preserve his career and overall well-being. This was prior to the Raiders benching Jimmy Garoppolo (WARNING: video below contains NSFW language).
"I gotta get the f--- out of here before I lose my f------ life," Adams said. "I ain't never been hit this many f------ times in my career. Every game I get f----- up."

Thankfully, the Raiders were able to turn things around once they benched Jimmy G and fired Josh McDaniels in favor of Antonio Pierce, who Adams approves of. The veteran receiver also revealed in the show that he signed off on the benching of Garoppolo, something he says needed to happen for him to stay in Las Vegas.
“Well my opinion on (benching Garoppolo), was I signed off on that," Adams said. "And that’s just the reality of it. You know, I love Jimmy and he’s a great guy, but something had to happen in order for us to have a stretch and in order for me to remain a Raider, in all honesty.”
The Raiders made the switch to Aidan O'Connell, a rookie signal-caller who had his ups and downs but ultimately finished the season strong. Now, O'Connell is competing for the starting job with Gardner Minshew, but Adams believes the second-year signal-caller will be the starter in Week 1.
"I want whoever is going to look the best when it's live bullets," Adams said. "I think right now if I had to say, I think Aidan has the job because obviously he was here before and that's the way that it was. He was running with the one's more and until Gardner comes in and takes the job away from him, I think it's Aidan's job right now."
While Adams certainly seems to be happier now and has reiterated his allegiance to the Raiders, this clip makes it clear he's never far away from wanting out of Las Vegas if things don't pan out. That will only add fuel to the speculation that he could end up back with his buddy Aaron Rodgers if things go south in 2024.
