Danica Patrick wrote a heartfelt message to boyfriend Aaron Rodgers after the Packers quarterback fell short of reaching the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Green Bay's 37-20 loss to the 49ers moved the 36-year-old to 1-3 in NFC championship games and delayed for at least another year that elusive second Super Bowl ring.

Following the game, the former NASCAR driver shared a photo of Rodgers to her Instagram and wrote about how proud she was of the two-time NFL MVP.

Wrote Patrick:

"Endings are always hard. But this season was still pretty amazing and we nearly had our bags packed for the super bowl (sic). I will ever (sic) forget the good times we had. Thank you for the memories @aaronrodgers12 ❤️ and squad. Something tells me this is just the beginning of a good long run for the @packers. 💚💛"

Sunday was a tough day for Rodgers: He threw two touchdowns, but also committed three turnovers, including two interceptions. But we're sure Patrick's supportive message — and an escape to the couple's new $28 million Malibu beach house — will help the quarterback feel a little better.
