Joe Buck and Troy Aikman have made the seamless transition to being ESPN's "Monday Night Football" crew. They are in their second season in that role and have brought some stability to what had previously been a yearly rotating slew of announcers and analysts.
However, the duo won't be on the call for the Dolphins vs. Titans game on "Monday Night Football" in Week 14. There's a very good reason for that: They can't be in two places at once.
Instead, ESPN will turn to its No. 2 crew of Dan Orlovsky, Chris Fowler and Louis Riddick to broadcast the matchup featuring one of the top teams in the AFC.

But why is that happening? Here's what to know about ESPN's "Monday Night Football" schedule for Week 14.
Why Dan Orlovsky, Chris Fowler, Louis Riddick are announcing 'Monday Night Football'
Orlovsky, Fowler and Riddick are drawing into the "Monday Night Football" booth because ESPN is hosting its third and final "Monday Night Football" doubleheader of the 2023 NFL season.
While the Dolphins and Titans will square off on ESPN at 8:15 p.m. ET, the Packers and Giants will be kicking off at the same time on ABC. Buck and Aikman will be on the call for the latter game, which will be broadcast to a wider audience on a cable network. Fowler's crew will get the No. 2 game, their third game working together this season.
ESPN's previous "MNF" doubleheaders occurred in Weeks 2 and 3 of the season. So while there was a large gap between these two contests, this arrangement will feel familiar to NFL fans.
Where is Steve Levy?
For those wondering why Steve Levy isn't on the call for "Monday Night Football," the answer is simple. ESPN replaced Levy on the No. 2 crew with Fowler.
Levy previously served as the play-by-play announcer on "Monday Night Football" for two seasons in 2020 and 2021. He was demoted to the second team for the 2022 season, during which he called doubleheaders with Orlovsky and Riddick. But now, he is off the program's broadcasts entirely.
As detailed by the New York Post, Fowler's move to "Monday Night Football" came as a part of his signing a new deal with ESPN. The "Monday Night Football" gig was reportedly added to Fowler's deal by ESPN as a way to "sweeten the pot a little."
The terms of Fowler's contract have not yet been disclosed.
As for Levy, he remains at ESPN, but more of his hosting duties have come as a part of the network's coverage of the NHL.
Are Joe Buck and Troy Aikman calling 'Monday Night Football' in Week 14?
Yes, Buck and Aikman will be calling a "Monday Night Football" game in Week 14. It just won't be the Dolphins-Titans game. They will instead be broadcasting the Packers-Giants game on ABC.
Both games are set to start at 8:15 p.m. ET, so NFL fans will have to choose which game (or crew) they want to listen to more. They could also opt to watch the Week 14 Manningcast, which will simulcast the games with Peyton Manning, Eli Manning and the guests they line up for the program.
