The Cowboys offense will be a force to reckoned with for years to come with last season's rookie sensations Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott carrying the load.
But it's the defense that owner Jerry Jones wants to shore up to get Dallas back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1996.

Jones recently joined ESPN Dallas 103.3's J Dub City and talked specifically about bringing a disruptive pass rusher either in the draft or free agency.
“If I have a chance to bring one of these premiere pass rushers, one of these war daddies that takes two to block, if I have a chance to get a player like that — I would … it’s not a question of that,” Jones said on ESPN Dallas 103.3 (via the Dallas Morning News). “It’s a question of where is he? And who gives him up if he’s a veteran, or where is he in the draft, or where is he anywhere? So, yeah we do need pressure. We’re going to try to do something about it.”
Texas A&M defensive end and consensus No. 1 prospect Myles Garrett has made it clear he'd love to get drafted by the Cowboys, his hometown team. However, the Cowboys won't draft until pick No. 28, and Garrett will be a long gone by then. Jones would need to put a substantial package together to jump up to the No. 1 or No. 2 pick in the draft.
