The Cowboys are inching back to full health.
Dallas gets back more than one defensive player from injury in time for its pivotal home game against the Saints on Sunday night, ESPN Dallas reports.
Dallas will once again have the services of defensive end Anthony Spencer. It's been a year since Spencer, an eight-year veteran, was sidelined with a knee injury.
Why do the Cowboys need Spencer and his 363-career tackles and 32.5 sacks? Through three weeks the Dallas defense has managed to record only three sacks, with just a half sack coming from the defensive line.
Also returning is linebacker Justin Durant, who has missed the last two weeks with a strained groin.
The Cowboys' leading tackler through Week 2, Rolando McClain, didn't practice Thursday and likely won't play as he still recovers from a groin injury suffered in the week leading up to the game against the Rams.
Rolando McClain didn't practice today. Don't expect him to play Sunday.
