Step aside, "Omaha". There's a new cadence in town.
There really hasn't been a signature quarterback call-out since Peyton Manning's patented "Omaha" pre-snap command during his days with the Broncos. However, Dak Prescott has entered a new, catchy phrase into the fray.
The Cowboys QB has been heard yelling, "Yeah, here we go!" before taking offensive snaps. It was a new feature to his verbal play calling in 2023, and has since carried over into 2024.

The touchdown pass was Prescott's 15th TD targeting a vertical route since Week 8. No other QB has more than 11 vertical route TDs all season.

Prescott had a strong showing in 2023, finishing the regular season first in passing TDs and completions, third in passing yards and second in completion percentage — all while only throwing just nine interceptions. He earned a massive contract as a result, and now is carrying that momentum into 2024.

Maybe the new catchphrase has something to do with his breakout year. The Sporting News explains more on the reason for Prescott's "Yeah, here we go" cadence.
Why does Dak Prescott yell 'Yeah, here we go'?
"Yeah, here we go" is a part of Prescott's pre-snap cadence. It is giving the offense a cue for the upcoming play. It can also be used to help dictate the snap count for hiking the ball.
Sometimes, he can be heard saying the full, "Yeah, here we go," or other times, it's simply, "Here we go."

It's not the words that make the call stand out. It's the way he's saying it, elongating the word, "Yeah" and "Go" in the statement, making it a catchy phrase to say.
Prescott added the unique verbiage to his cadence for this season. It was not previously part of his repertoire, which could be due to Mike McCarthy taking over offensive play call duties with the firing of offensive coordinator Kellen Moore this offseason.
The football reason behind the play is not known. Neither Prescott nor McCarthy have spoken on the matter, so it's unclear what the play call indicates for the Cowboys' offense. However, it's become a popular saying that's making its rounds around social media.

He's really playing the position and he's using his cadence beautifully..

With Dallas owning one of the most dominant offense in the league, expect to hear Prescott's "Yeahhhhhh, here we gooo!" frequently during Cowboys games for the rest of 2024.
