It was a tough night for Dallas Stars fans on Monday as they watched their team fall behind 1-2 in the series against the St. Louis Blues after a 4-3 loss. One young fan in particular suffered a little extra pain after getting struck by a hockey puck during the third period.

Thankfully, Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott — who happened to be in attendance supporting the hometown team — was on hand to right the situation. He acted quickly, going over to console the young fan while taking a selfie with him.

A very nice gesture from the All-Pro running back, who not only had great seats to the action, but seemingly had a great time supporting the Stars.

No report if he was able to console fans after the loss, however. The Stars and Blues will resume their series on Wednesday in Dallas.
