Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is undergoing surgery on his right foot and ankle Wednesday in New York and is expected to be ready for offseason program in April, according to ESPN.com, which cited unidentified sources.
The surgery was expected to include treatment for bone spurs in the ankle in addition to adding another bone graft to the area of his foot that was surgically repaired last September, according to the report.

Bryant's nagging problems were part of a rough season for the Cowboys (4-12) that included injuries to star players such as QB Tony Romo and Bryant, who broke his foot in the team's opener and never was himself after his return.
Some maintain that both Romo and Bryant were pushed to return by owner Jerry Jones, who stubbornly hoped his team could somehow reach the playoffs. Instead, both suffered further injuries.
Bryant didn't play in Dallas' final two games after it became apparent that his foot and ankle weren't healthy, and Romo reinjured his broken collarbone as the Cowboys season went down in flames.
