The onslaught of random, weird NFL offseason injuries continues.

Linebacker Damien Wilson will miss the first few weeks of Cowboys training camp because he got hit in the eye with a paintball, owner Jerry Jones said Friday (via the Dallas Morning News).

Because of the injury, Wilson has been placed on the non-football injury list.

Several questions need to be answered here. Why wasn't Wilson wearing goggles? Isn't that protocol when one plays paintball? Was he looking directly at the person who shot him? What color was the paint?

In time, hopefully these questions will be answered.

Fellow Cowboy Darren McFadden is on the physically unable to perform list after he broke his arm when he slipped beside a friend's pool. Vikings quarterback Taylor Heinicke also suffered a bizarre injury when he severed a tendon in his left foot trying to kick a door open.
