Former Washington Commanders quarterback Colt McCoy is out here getting roasted by his former coach, Jay Gruden, who jokingly took a shot at the signal-caller's looks on social media on Tuesday.
The X aggregator everyone loves to hate, Dov Kleiman, asked his followers to name a quarterback who didn't succeed in the NFL because of a lack of arm strength and athleticism despite being "perfect" (I know, the premise is silly, but stay with me).
Kleiman went on to name McCoy, but the problem was he didn't use the right picture. Instead, he used one of fellow former Arizona Cardinals quarterback, David Blough.
Gruden responded to the post and pointed out how that was not McCoy in the picture — and, in the process, he roasted the McCoy by calling him "more ugly" than Blough. Gruden did go on to defend McCoy, though.
Who the hell is that? Colt is much more ugly. However, he was plenty athletic and had plenty of arm. Just a few unlucky injuries my friend.

McCoy spent six years under Gruden in Washington from 2014-19, serving as a backup. And, speaking of ugly, the pair enjoyed just two winning campaigns together, with Washington's best record in that span being 9-7.
McCoy last played a down in the NFL in 2022 with the Cardinals, who cut him prior to the 2023 campaign after it looked like he might start. The veteran signal-caller did not latch on with another team after that.
