Indianapolis Colts offensive lineman Wesley French was carted off the field during Sunday's training camp practice at the Grand Park Sports Complex.
It's unclear what injury French suffered during the afternoon practice, but it is something to monitor. French, a third-year undrafted free agent, is battling for a depth spot in the offensive line room.
He has guard-center flexibility and has mostly worked with the second-team offense during training camp, suggesting he was in line for one of the final spots on the roster.
The Colts already lost top edge rusher Samson Ebukam to a torn Achilles, an injury that is likely to keep off the field for the rest of the year.
If French's injury is serious, the Colts will likely replace him with a combination of Josh Sills, Danny Pinter, Tanor Bortolini and Dalton Tucker.
