As the Indianapolis Colts enter the second season under head coach Shane Steichen, much of the attention will be on the development of the offense.
Though we only got a glimpse of what the unit looked like with electric quarterback Anthony Richardson under center, it's clear Steichen has what it takes to elevate the offense to a high level.

In fact, Jim Wyman and Dalton Wasserman of Pro Football Focus believe the Colts "will have one of the most dynamic offenses in football" if Richardson hits his ceiling.
For most teams, they go as the quarterback goes. It's simply the nature of the NFL.
The Colts in 2023 were one of the rare exceptions in which a team became a playoff contender despite not having stellar quarterback play.
They were just one game away from winning the division for the first time since 2014 with Gardner Minshew under center for the majority of the campaign. That's a major testament to what Steichen brings to the table.

Now, the Colts are entering a wide-open and very competitive AFC South division. They are doing so with a fully healthy Richardson, who will share the backfield with the electric Jonathan Taylor.
Richardson also should have a solid group of pass-catchers led by Michael Pittman Jr., Josh Downs and rookie Adonai Mitchell.
We'll see just how high the Colts offense can fly, but there are reasons for optimism as long as health is one their side in 2024.
