The Colts have an outside chance at making the playoffs, and in order to do so, they must first win their Week 17 game against the Titans. Playing quarterback for the Colts in that game will be first-time starter Stephen Morris, recent FXFL quarterback Josh Freeman or ex-Cardinal Ryan Lindley.

Indianapolis announced Tuesday it signed Freeman and Lindley. Andrew Luck hasn't played since Week 9, Charlie Whitehurst was placed on injured reserve and 40-year-old Matt Hasselbeck has been beaten to a pulp.

It's too early to tell whether Morris or Freeman will be the Colts' starter. Morris has been with the team longer but has never played in an NFL regular-season game. Freeman, a 2009 first-round draft pick, at least has some experience in the league, although he hasn't played since 2013.

Even if one of these quarterbacks is able to pull off a win in Week 17, the Colts still need a ton of help. Below are the nine things that need to happen in order for Indianapolis to reach the postseason.

— The Colts beat the Titans

— The Texans lose to the Jaguars

— The Bills beat the Jets

— The Dolphins beat the Patriots

— The Ravens beat the Bengals

— The Falcons beat the Saints

— The Raiders beat the Chiefs

— The Broncos beat the Chargers

— The Steelers beat the Browns

Good luck, Indy.
