The Indianapolis Colts and Cincinnati Bengals will get in a joint practice Tuesday ahead of the preseason finale at Paycor Stadium.
The practice Tuesday is scheduled to begin at 2:20 p.m. ET with head coach Shane Steichen meeting reporters immediately following.
The Thursday night finale should feature the starters from both sides getting some run during the first half. The Colts sat the majority of their starters, including quarterback Anthony Richardson, in their second preseason game with the idea of playing in the finale.
While both teams will be cautious to avoid injury as much as possible during this final joint practice, this does give each side a chance to get some extra competitive reps in before the finale.
There should be some intense battling taking place both internally within the Colts roster and externally against one of the AFC's premier teams.
While Ja'Marr Chase is currently holding out amid a contract dispute, going against the likes of Tee Higgins and Joe Burrow will be enough of a test for the Colts secondary.
The Colts also will see a familiar face in running back Zack Moss, who signed a two-year deal with the Bengals this offseason.
This will be the final preseason practice before the finale arrives Thursday night so there should be plenty of fireworks.
