Colin Kaepernick is the most disliked player in the NFL, according to a poll by E-Poll Marketing Research (via ESPN.com.)

Out of 1,100 Americans polled, the 49ers quarterback was disliked by the highest percentage (29) of voters. Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston (22 percent), Dolphins defensive end Ndamukong Suh (21 percent), Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (13 percent) and Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (10 percent) rounded out the top five most-disliked players.

The poll results had a significant racial skew — 42 percent of African Americans surveyed strongly like Kaepernick, and only 2 percent dislike him. When the same survey was done three years ago, right after Kaepernick led the 49ers to the Super Bowl and long before his national anthem protest, only 16 percent of African Americans said they liked him "a lot."

Along those lines, 37 percent of Caucasian respondents this time said they dislike Kaepernick "a lot" compared to 7 percent last time around.

In the previous poll in 2013, Michael Vick (53 percent) was far and away the most disliked player, with Suh and Roethlisberger making the "top" five that time, too.
