The Colin Kaepernick Era in San Francisco isn't finished just yet, if we are to read anything into the inner workings of the team's online store.
Back in November, a few weeks after Kaepernick was benched in favor of Blaine Gabbert, a former San Jose Mercury News reporter noted that prices on Kaepernick gear had been slashed. And why not? No one would have been surprised at that point if Kaepernick had played his last game for the 49ers.

With Thursday's hire of Chip Kelly as the team's new coach, though, the script has flipped. Kaepernick could well be the ideal fit for Kelly's frenetic offense if he can get his game and confidence back on track after a miserable 2015.
Whatever comes to pass on that front, it's clear he is no longer persona non grata in Santa Clara, as the team has bumped the price of his gear back up.
